Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The data controller is Tatra AI, Stará Lesná, 059 52, Slovakia.

2. What data we process

We only process personal data needed to run the website and communicate with clients:

  • Contact form: name, website, business type, request description, optional budget and preferred language.
  • Email communication: content of messages you send us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device and basic visit information (analytics).
  • AI chat (if used): text of messages you enter in the on-site chat.

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process data for the following purposes:

  • Replying to inquiries and preparing a service proposal — legitimate interest and/or steps before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • Communication with existing clients — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Website analytics — legitimate interest in improving our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Operating the AI chat — legitimate interest and user consent when sending a message (Art. 6(1)(a) and (f) GDPR).

4. Recipients and processors

Data may be processed by trusted providers we use to operate the website and services, including:

  • Vercel — website hosting and anonymised visit analytics.
  • OpenAI — processing chat text when a visitor uses the AI chat.
  • Email and cloud providers necessary for communication and service delivery.

5. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this applies, we use appropriate safeguards under GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention

We keep data only as long as necessary:

  • Form inquiries: usually up to 24 months from the last communication, unless a contract is entered into.
  • Contract-related communication: for the duration of the engagement and as required by law thereafter.
  • Analytics data: according to the relevant tool’s settings, usually in aggregated form.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • request access, rectification or erasure of your data,
  • restrict processing or object to processing,
  • request data portability,
  • withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent,
  • lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotection.gov.sk).

8. Security

We handle data responsibly and apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it from unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

We may update this document if our services or legal requirements change. The current version is always available on this page.
